The BDA collects and organizes the best and most current information available on business design from all over the world. Felipe Beppler

Felipe has been an industrial designer since 2003 and is currently the project manager for Ótima Comunicação in Curitiba, Brazil. As a project manager, Felipe is constantly looking for places to integrate design into his projects as a way to both differentiate from the competition and operate more efficiently. Felipe graduated from Design Management at George Brown College in Toronto and his favourite song is “Ken Lee” by the girl from Bulgarian Idol.

Carla Ferguson

Carla came to Canada in 1991 where she pursued her dream of becoming a graphic designer majoring in corporate communications. She recently graduated from Design Management and her interests and focus are on the direction of the business of design and great design practise.

Vladimir Lukic

Vladimir has spent the last ten years doing an eclectic mix of advertising, fine art, graphic design, web development and project management, working on a variety of non-profit, e-commerce and institutional projects. His career focus has always been one of managing business and creativity, and his personal and professional goals have always been directed towards finding this elusive harmony. A vocal proponent of best practices in the development of online projects, Vladimir brings his web development experience and drive for excellence to the BDA, as well as the desire to raise awareness of business design among web industry professionals and users.

Claudia El-moor

As the creative director of Eye Design, a Brazilian graphic design boutique, Claudia has been creating fresh and elegant corporate identities for retail, service and technology companies for over ten years. Specialized in Design Management from George Brown College (Toronto) – having studied Graphic Design in Brazil and Italy – she has contributed to graphic design magazines in Brazil, Italy and Russia. As a strategic design consultant, Claudia is amazed by how design can change the future of organizations.

Jesse Thompson

Jesse is a graphic designer who is passionate about developing business concepts through the use of design. A graduate of the Design Management program at George Brown College in Toronto, Jesse has learned to bring business concepts to reality in unconventional but effective ways. After he receives his MBA, he aspires to become a business design consultant, bringing design thinking and practices into the corporate world. His favourite negotiating technique is the triangle choke. “Design is everything, and everything is design. By integrating form, function and design thinking & practices into business as usual, you can create better products, procedures, strategies, and services which result in a happier end user.” – Jesse Thompson
